Why should your school partner with us?

Kidz Mob will endeavour to collaborate with your school to create and maintain a service that will maximise learning and positive outcomes for children. We would encourage regular communication between the school, and Kidz Mob to ensure an open dialogue around quality improvement and feedback. We will align with the school and be consistent with school policies and procedures, including facilities usage, child protection, guiding children’s behaviour and sun safety. 

Kidz Mob is committed to investing back into your school through programs, community engagement, resources and volunteering.

Kidz Mob is dedicated to ensuring that each child is safeguarded, protected from harm and hazard, and feels safe in the OSHC environment. 

Kidz Mob will engage with your local and school community through volunteering at P&C events, volunteering at school events, running a Parents Night Out. purchasing goods from local suppliers, hiring people from the local community, NAIDOC week celebrations, discounts for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, prep orientation sessions, building an OSHC garden and more! 

The inclusion of an OSHC service at your school would allow parents/caregivers to work to support their families, whilst knowing that their child is in a safe, enriching, and fun environment! Parents/caregivers will have access to the childcare subsidy which subsidises a portion of their fees based on Centrelinks determination of their Childcare Subsidy Assessment. Families will be provided information by Kidz Mob on enrolment about how to apply through centrelink. 

Outside School Hours Care provides a cross-age environment that fosters the development of social and life skills. Children in OSHC have opportunities to interact and engage with children in different year levels, and form friendships outside their usual group.
Our environment compliments the programs offered at school and assists in the consolidation of learning. Unlike school-based learning, OSHC encourages learning through children’s interests being incorporated into play experiences. When children attend a Kidz Mob OSHC they can expect to be engaged in play-based curriculum, consume nutritious food, participate in a range of outdoor physical activities, and build trusting relationships with educators and peers.
